Led by Phil Mountain MCIOB MIoR, who has worked within the roofing industry since 1989, K2 Surveyors provides independent investigation, assessment and technical advice relating to pitched and flat roofing systems.
Services include independent roof surveys, roof condition surveys, roof defect investigations, roof leak investigations, roofing workmanship inspections, roofing audits, pre-purchase roof surveys, independent roofing reports and specialist roofing consultancy. K2 also assists with the investigation of defective, failing or poorly executed roofing works and can provide independent reporting where concerns or disputes have arisen.
Inspections are tailored to the property, roof construction, access requirements and nature of the problem. Where appropriate, inspection methods may include direct roof access, ladder inspection, handheld photography, drone-assisted inspection and other suitable investigative techniques. Drones are used as an inspection tool rather than being the service itself, with the principal focus remaining on specialist roofing assessment, interpretation and professional reporting.
K2 Surveyors works with a wide range of residential, commercial and industrial clients, including homeowners, property owners and landlords, homebuyers, insurance companies, loss adjusters and loss assessors, Chartered Building Surveyors, local authorities, facilities management companies, contractors, letting agents, solicitors and other property professionals requiring specialist roofing input.
