The way clients find a surveyor is changing, and it is changing for every discipline. Quantity surveyors, building surveyors, damp and timber specialists, retrofit assessors, structural engineers, valuers, the lot. More of your future clients now ask an AI assistant before they open Google, or they read the AI answer overviews Google puts at the top of the page before they scroll to anything else. That answer is often the first and only thing they see.

When someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Google’s AI Overview to recommend a surveyor, the AI answers by naming the firms it can read and trust. It is not checking a register. Over the next two weeks we are rolling out Find the Right Surveyor, the independent Surveyors UK directory.
Your firm gets a professional profile that shows what you do, the disciplines you cover, your team, where you work, and the option to display your typical fees, which most directories never show at all. It is open to every type of surveyor and every accredited discipline, not one corner of the profession.
The profile does a second job too. Because it is your firm set out in clear, factual language, it becomes a page a machine can read and quote.

The first referral network between surveyors
Surveyors frequently turn work away. The wrong location, the wrong specialism, or simply no capacity this month. That work does not have to be lost.
The Surveyors UK referral network is the first of its kind, a private network between member firms. You post the outline of a job you cannot take. Firms that match the discipline and the area are notified. They express interest, and you choose who receives it. No client details are ever posted, and contact details are shared only once you have chosen a firm.
No fees. No algorithms. The point is trust between professionals, not a cut of your work.
Importantly, we decided that all firm membership tiers would have access to this referral network. Everyone should benefit.

Firm membership starts at £35 plus VAT per month and is tiered by the size of your firm. Here is the important part. We are still building, and new features are rolling out through the year. As the network fills and the tools grow, the price will rise. Join now as a founding firm and your rate is fixed and secured for your first twelve months, whatever the standard price becomes in that time. You get everything that lands next, at the price you locked in today. One referred job pays for the whole year.
